[slis] Your designs wanted!

Your wonderful fundraising committee has been hard at work looking for ways
to 
replenish our SLIS fund.  After considering our plethora of options, we have 
decided to sell T-shirts and sweatshirts.  We are also considering selling 
canvas bags or travel mugs.

We are looking for a new design!  We know there are some gifted artists out 
there!  The design should be one color (on the shirts it will be black or 
white ink).  The printer requests that the submission should be on clean
white 
paper or saved as an eps file.  The maximum image area is 9x9 (last year's 
image was 9x7).

The design should include the words "School of Library and Information 
Science" and maybe "Iowa" but if it says University of Iowa we will have to 
pay a 7.5% royalty fee (same applies to any UI trademarks).  The design will 
only be on one side of the shirt.

The winning designer will receive a cash prize of $25!  We will be accepting 
submissions until Monday Sept. 17 at 5:00pm.  Please give the design to Jane 
at the SLIS office or email it to her at jane-bradbury@uiowa.edu.  After the 
deadline, SLIS members will vote to choose the winning design.  We will 
provide more information on voting at a later date.
