[slis] Picnic date set

Hello All,

I would like to express my thanks for all the wonderful input concerning
when you would prefer to have the picnic.  It is set for this Saturday, the
22 of September from 2:00-5:00 pm.  I figured that people wanting to attend
the ICPL kick off can go to events before and after the picnic.  Denise
wanted me to tell you all that Mrs. Vilsack will be speaking around
12:15/12:30 at the ICPL that day, so you could hear what she has to say,
check out some of the other events, and then come to the picnic to
socialize with your fellow SLIS collegues.  Oh, Denise will try to get
shelter #14 booked today at Lower City Park for Saturday.  If she doesn't
get that particular shelter, she will let me know and I will forward that
information to you.  I will provide the charcoal, the charcoal lighter, and
aluminum foil for the grill.  Bring a dish to pass, your own beverages, and
something to throw on the grill.  So, that's it!!  Hope to see you there!
