- Repository
Based
Software Engineering (RBSE)
- Funded by NASA through the RICIS
cooperative agreement and working closely with Johnson
Space Center's Software Technology Branch, RBSE collaborated with
Rockwell
Space Operations Company on the reengineering of a major portion of the
Space Shuttle Flight Analysis and Design System and was nominated for
the
NASA Software of the Year Award for 1998 for our work on the MORE
and MOREjava
repository
systems.
- Intelligent
Web Agents
- IWA is an umbrella project researching the design and
implementation of
intelligent, ethical agents for the World Wide Web.
- The

Spider
- This is a RBSE spin-off project investigating the use of Web
spiders both
for the construction of searchable indices and for the population of
repositories.
- Sulla

- Originally funded by Texas Instruments, the Sulla project is a
personal
software agent supporting information discovery and retrieval on the

- Interaction
Protocols for Software Agents on the Web
- Originally funded by the Texas Advanced Technology Program,
this project
is building a shared ontology server for deeper conceptual exploration

- Collaborative
Web Search
- Originally funded by LinCom, Inc. as part of their Phase 2 NASA
SBIR, this
project is bridging the LinCom Knowledge Robot into the shared ontology
environment.
- Legacy
Program
Understanding Through Program Slicing and Plan Recognition
- Originally funded by the Institute for Space Systems Operations,
this project
is exploring the interaction between language semantics techniques
(program
slicing) and heuristic techniques (plan or cliche recognition) for
