Assignment 2: Works, Super works, etc.. (10 points)

Date Due: Thursday, October 9, 2008 (at the start of class).

Got to InfoHawk Catalog and do a search on "To kill a mockingbird". Select the entry that has 19 records against it (for me this was the second entry). Go through the list and briefly describe only the first 10 entries. Note use the default ordering (which is by year) and so do not re-sort the search results by any other field.

a) How many different works are in the set? Justify your answer.

b) Which items belong to the same work? Justify your answer.

c) Are there any superworks to which any or all of these items belong? Justify your answer.

d) Are there any specific relationships between the items? If so what are they? Justify your answer?

I am looking to see how well you can apply the concepts studied to this example set.
