Analyze the nature of information and its role in modern life.
Examine the historical development of the
library and
information science professions and their
role in society.
Study the key issues facing library and
information science professionals
in a rapidly-changing technological and
social environment.
Demonstrate and exemplify key procedures
in retrieval
from modern information systems.
