About the Author

Christy Stevens is currently finishing her last semester in the MLIS program at the University of Iowa. She also has earned Masters degrees in Women's Studies (San Diego State University, 1998) and English (University of California at Irvine, 2000). Christy's research interests include multimedia instructional technology and educational theory and their implications for library instruction. Upon graduation, Christy hopes to obtain an instructional position at an academic library.
