Methods Society

The
critical methods society arranges conferences on the
politics of knowledge production and supports critical
research, guerilla publishing, and radical teaching
initiatives. They are a loose group of lecturers and
students at South African universities, but their focus
is on international as much as on South African issues.

Critical
pedagogy site that provides information about critical
theory and the following critical educators: Paulo Freire,
Michael Apple, Henry Giroux, and Peter McLaren. The site
was created by Ph.D. students in Education (Cynthia Duda,
Ruben Garza, Linda Stacavich, Sung-Kwan Yang, and Laurie
Williams) as a project for Dr. James Scheurich's graduate
course, Systems of Human Inquiry, at the University of
Texas at Austin.
